The City of Jasper has taken a significant step toward addressing homelessness by launching the Jasper Community Assistance Network (JCAN). This initiative aims to coordinate community efforts and implement data-driven strategies to support individuals experiencing homelessness.
JCAN’s inaugural meeting on April 23 brought together various community partners to discuss and develop a unified approach to this pressing issue. The network’s primary objectives include strengthening communication among stakeholders, reducing service duplication, and enhancing the effectiveness of assistance programs.
By fostering collaboration and utilizing data to inform decisions, JCAN seeks to create sustainable solutions that benefit both individuals in need and the broader Jasper community.
